This is a photo series about Body Dismorphia and how this mental hesalth issue can affect ones relationship between food and daily life. I decided to narrow my focus on one person for this series because of my close relationship with her and my extenive knowledge of her personal journey with BDD.
I mostly used flash and very saturated colours to create a feeling of discmofort, reflecting the inner struggles that come with this disorder.
The layout was also a concious way of showcasing this project, like an editorial piece; this uses the delusional way bodies are being portrayed within advertisement and instead spotlights the reality.
